Under the conditions of this 13-week study, no test-article-related mortality was observed across all dose groups. Body-weight gain was reduced at the high dose of 1000 mg/kg/day, correlating with minimal hepatocellular changes. Based on the overall toxicity profile, the NOAEL was determined to be 300 mg/kg/day.
